Office Manager - part time 15/20 hrs/week
Responsible for staffing the office, supporting the consultants and teaching staff, and providing liason with the community. Reports to Executive Director.
Qualifications
The candidate must have proficiency in the following areas:
Ability to relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone
Ability to be diplomatic, tactful, discreet, flexible, resolurceful, dependable, well organized, emotionall mature and professional.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple requests
Ability to operate with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgement in resolving routine problems, or answering questions
Well versed with Windows 7, MS Word, desktop publishing, and social networking
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Answer telephone, take messages, respond to inquiries
Assist with bookeeping, payroll, AP processing, AR and collection
Provide basic information to visitors and callers
Handle monthly class scheduling
Organize, publisize and plan quarterly social events
Organize, publisize and register volunteers for quarterly social events
Maintain, monitor and update website
Implement policies and procedures for filing, ordering supplies, records maintence, and other clerical services
Other tasks as requested
