The Seeds staff is comprised of dedicated individuals whose contributions are critical to our success. Our credits include public school districts, transition classrooms, Arc-San Diego vocational programs, Home of Guiding Hands, multiple parent groups incuding SELPA and PASS, San Diego Regional Center, San Diego Sheriff's Department, U.S. Fire Department, FEMA, Department of Homeland Security and the International Conference on Disability and Abuse Prevention.
Stacy F. Everson, RN, BSN
Founder and Executive Director of Seeds Education, Inc.
Stacy F. Everson has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Dominguez Hills State University (1990), a Public Health Degree in Nursing (1990), Adult Education Credential in Family Life Education (1990) and is Nationally Certified in Family Life Education by the National Council on Family Relations (1993-Current). She also holds a Certificate in Developmental Disabilities Nursing (1998-Current). In 1987, Stacy began work as a Family Life Consultant/Educator at various San Diego developmental service providers. This expanded into sexual abuse investigational services utilized by various agencies such as Adult Protective Services, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department and the California Courts. Stacy noticed a recurring need for sexual abuse education for those individuals with cognitive/developmental disabilities. The "Array of Colors" curriculum was developed to educate individuals susceptible to abuse and empower them through education to understand the various relationships in their lives, boundaries, and abuse awareness/prevention.
She received the 2002 Civic Club Award and the News 10 Leadership Award. She coordinates projects, does public speaking, and assesses people with disabilities.

![]() | Nicole Reams SEEDS Resource Specialist Nicole Reams has been actively involved with Seeds since 2005 when she began her career as a small group instructor. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, an Education Specialist credential in the area of mild/moderate disabilities and an Adult Education Credential in self-maintenance skills. Nicole teaches SEEDS classes, trains new teachers and has created a socialization game called "speed greeting" which she implements at the Seeds parties. |
| | Lucila Arreola Teacher Lucila Arreola joined the SEEDS staff in 2009 as an abuse prevention educator. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and is persuing her Master's degree. Lucila is making use of her fluency in Spanish to translate SEEDS educational materials for the Spanish speaking students. |

![]() | Dr. Kathryn Pedgrift SEEDS Educational Specialist Dr.Pedgrift holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University and an MA in Special Education from San Franciso State University. Kathryn began working for Seeds Educational Services in 1999 as an educator specializing in abuse and sex education for people with developmental disabilities. She currently serves as Seeds Education Specialist and is co-author of the Array of Colors curriculum and continues to write curricula for people with developmental disabilities in the area of relationships, sexuality, and abuse awareness and prevention. Prior to receiving her PsyD, she interned at Porterville State Hosp. working with developmentally disabled sex offenders and victims of sexual assault. |

Gissela is currently emplyed as a case worker for ARC Imperial Valley. |
